Dear Smooth Jazz listeners
We regret to inform you that WDSJ-Smooth Jazz 106.5 ended its current format at 5PM on Friday, May 1, 2009.
The ending of the current on-air format of Smooth Jazz 106.5 was a difficult decision, but the format no longer remains financially viable. We never like to disappoint our listeners, however with the current economic state, neither the station’s ratings nor revenue were at the point of continuing the Smooth Jazz format.
We are pleased to announce the following ways you can still enjoy the Smooth Jazz format:
- ON-AIR: Lite 99.9 (WLQT) will be hosting Smooth Jazz Sundays, 4-hours of Smooth Jazz programming including The Smooth Jazz Top 20. This block of programming will air on Sundays from 10am-2pm on Lite 99.9.
- ON-AIR in HD: On Lite 99.9’s HD-2 Channel, available for free with any HD Radio Receiver at 99.9-2 HD-FM.
- ON-LINE with streaming audio available at www.yoursmoothjazz.com and www.iHeartRadio.com
- DOWNLOAD the Smooth Jazz App available for your i-Phone, Blackberry, Chumby and Verizon Hub at www.iHeartMusic.com
